Delirium Deliria (ABV 8.5%) from the Huyghe Brewery is pale blonde, with a creamy white head. The aroma is very balanced with a fruity, flowery background and an initial Chardonnay impression which evolves into a spicy, mild aroma of hops.

Sparkling carbonation enhances the taste, which is full-bodied and balanced with fruity tones of apple and Chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mild bitterness in its aftertaste and a splendid, round feel in the mouth.

Deliria is an annual (since 2013) effort of women in the brewing industry from all over the world who converge on the tiny town of Melle in Belgium to brew a beer in honor of International Women's Day. For the two-day brew, men who work at the company are asked to leave, a symbolic gesture in an industry that's male-dominated.

Deliria is increasingly linking itself to breast cancer support campaigns. Deliria packaging in the US bears the National Breast Cancer Foundation logo - a portion of the proceeds of sales of Deliria is donated to the Foundation.
